Our boutique resort is named after Siddhartha Gautama, the birth name of Buddha, who found enlightenment seated beneath the Bodhi tree reflecting on his experience of life, determined to find truth and harmony both from nature as from within. And so in his quest for truth he became the Buddha. ‘Siddhartha’ derives from the Sanskrit words ‘Siddha’ (achieved) and ‘Artha’ (what was searched for).
